What Non-Identifying Information Does INFOJET.org Collect?

All web servers collect and maintain information about devices accessing the servers by default. Even the web server running Grandma Mary Jean's knitting hobby WordPress website gathers information about devices accessing her website (even though she may not know anything about it). The website servers (computers) used by INFOJET.org gather information automatically from your browser, Internet session and/or device used to access the site. This gathered information is stored in web server log files. INFOJET.org is not analyzing user movements on the website at this time; however, log files will be maintained for administrative purposes such as identifying the IP address of the computer and/or user attempting to access the website for other than informational purposes. The web server log files include the accessing device internet protocol (IP) address, the browser type used by the device, page requested by the device, referring page(s), if any, making web page request, platform or operating system of accessing device, date/time stamp of request, status code (200 for successfully completed request) and size of web page requested in bytes.
